About
I build mobile payments & growth systems at billion-install scale.
I’m a Computer Scientist at Adobe Acrobat, where I lead growth, engagement, and monetization engineering for Acrobat Android. The app has 1B+ installs and 95M+ monthly active users globally, with payments served through Google Play Billing.
My work spans three areas:
- Mobile payments platform. I own end-to-end stability of the in-app payments stack — integration with Play Billing, subscription state machines, receipt verification, observability, and the controlled-rollback playbook that keeps payments healthy across releases. Most recently I led the design and launch of Acrobat Mobile’s first cross-product subscription upgrade / downgrade / cross-grade architecture, shipped in January 2026 with zero production incidents since launch and subsequently adopted by other Acrobat apps in the organization.
- Growth engineering. I lead the engagement charter that grew annual subscription retention 35%, and shipped the server-driven, context-aware paywall surface that delivered a 15% FY24 upsell uplift. I also productionized our on-device ML personalization model for the upsell experience — handling TFLite integration, latency budgeting, and graceful fallbacks.
- Mobile DevEx. I build the automations that let our Android organization ship monetization changes weekly: a Figma design linter (RTL, error states, click journeys, light/dark mode, font scaling, analytics coverage), an automated release-cherry-pick + Jira workflow, and a weekly executive KPI digest pipeline that ships a Monday-morning Slack message plus an auto-generated PowerPoint readout.
Mentoring engineers earlier in their careers is also a meaningful share of what I do — I think it’s one of the highest-leverage things a senior IC can spend time on.
Earlier work
Before my current role, I was a Member of Technical Staff II at Adobe Acrobat (Dec 2021–Apr 2025), where I led the monetization and engagement charter on the same product.
Before Adobe, I led mobile development at Aon (2018–2021) — built the original CoCubes Android app (50K+ downloads, 4.1★), led the React Native v2 unifying iOS and Android, and revamped the Assessment app (150K+ downloads, 4.0★) for remote candidate proctoring under poor-network conditions.
I started at Samsung R&D as an intern on Samsung Pay, contributing to UPI / NPCI compliance hardening and production bug fixes.
